Corsa C Easytronic problem
Hey guys,
I've been having trouble with my car and was recommended this site by a mate
I've got a problem with my easytronic corsa, it has the F on the display and won't start. I have hooked it up with OPCOM (demo version) and it came back with a code error P1607 -clutch actuator control postion sensor error (desctiption was something along those lines).
Also, when I was reading codes, I tried to read codes from the engine side through OPCOM, but it said something like ECU not responding or communicating (not sure if this was because I had a standard USB OBD II interface instead of the Interface that's maybe required with OPCOM??).
It broke down last week and and wouldn't start, but the AA dude tried for 30-40 mins under the bonnet and got it to fire up, it was then taken to a garage nearby where it was left for a couple of days and doesn't start again....
I've been doing lots of searching and it looks like I can send the unit off to a company that refurbishes the units, but I need to know how to remove the "actuator" from the car and where it's located?
Is there any pics or guides on how to remove this from the car? Also, is the gear selector unit and ECU and solenoids all part of the same unit? How can I check if it's not these other components at fault?
Would really appreciate any help, before I scrap it
